The Dirty Nil Release New Song Astro Ever After

Monday, 10 June 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

The Dirty Nil have debuted a new song.

Astro Ever After features a slow build-up that carries through to an explosive chorus and wailing guitar solo. It emerges from the Dundas, Ontario trio's 'Master Volume' sessions and was held onto because, "it deserves its own moment to fucking shine." The band's sophomore album arrived last year via Dine Alone Records. Vocalist Luke Bentham added:

"Astro Ever After is by no means an out-take from 'Master Volume'. It's an accompanying track that we chose to release after the bulk of the material simply because we can. Out of all the songs we recorded during the 'Master Volume' sessions, this is certainly one of our favourites.

"For anyone with a space lust, and for those who appreciate the beauty and brevity of life, the majesty of the sky, and the sludge of stoner metal: this one's for you. Please friends, crank and enjoy."

Prior to festival appearances in mainland Europe, the Dirty Nil play shows in Milton Keynes and London on June 19 and 20.

The Dirty Nil Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Wed June 19 2019 - MILTON KEYNES Craufurd Arms
Thu June 20 2019 - LONDON Black Heart
