Stereolab have postponed their Sheffield and Manchester dates.
The electronic and avant-pop group, whose last album was 2008’s ‘Chemical Chords’, will no longer perform at the Leadmill tonight (June 18), or at Manchester’s Albert Hall tomorrow (June 19), due to an undisclosed medical issue. The shows will be rescheduled in due course, and original tickets will be respected on the new dates.
Apologies to anyone that was planning on travelling to Sheffield for the show but we have no option other than to cancel.

The band will continue the tour, which celebrates the reissue of their seven-album back catalogue, on June 20 at Newcastle’s Boilershop. Following this they'll head to Leeds, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin throughout June and spend the autumn in America.
