Listen To Freddie Mercury's Previously Unreleased Track Time Waits For No One

Thursday, 20 June 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

A previously unreleased track from Freddie Mercury has surfaced.

Time Waits For No One was recorded in 1985 with musician, songwriter, producer and long-time friend Dave Clark for the 'Time' concept album, based on Clark's musical of the same name.

Orignally released in May 1986 as Time, the new stripped-back version of the track arrives via Virgin EMI/Universal Music Group, accompanied by an emotive video. Discussing the original recording session with the Queen frontman, Clark said:

"We got on great. If I didn't like something I'd say, and vice versa. We were both aiming for the same thing – to make something special."

Mercury fronted legendary rock band Queen from 1970 to 1991, when he died aged 45.
