Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno Announces Solo Album 'The S.L.P.', Plots UK Tour

Friday, 21 June 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Serge Pizzorno of Kasabian has announced his debut solo album.

‘The S.L.P.’ is due out on August 30, and will be supported by UK and European tour dates in September, including stops in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London, where he’ll play two nights at EartH. Tickets go on sale at 9.30am on June 28.

Ahead of the LP’s release, Pizzorno has shared another new track, after dropping Favourites with Little Simz in May. Nobody Else delivers some serious psych-rock vibes by teaming piano chords with heavily reverberated vocals in the introduction, before heading down the disco route with some summery, sun-soaked beats.

Pizzorno said via Twitter that the track is “so fresh it’ll make your toothpaste jealous”.

‘The S.L.P’ tracklist:

  1. Meanwhile... In Genova
  2. Lockdown
  3. ((trance))
  4. The Wu
  5. Soldiers 00018
  6. Meanwhile... At The Welcome Break (featuring slowthai)
