L7 Unveil Holding Pattern Video And Share Statement On PledgeMusic Collapse

L7 have released a video for Holding Pattern.

The track features on the the grunge legends' first new LP in 20 years, 'Scatter the Rats', which was funded via the now defunct crowdfunding site PledgeMusic.

The clip shows fuzzy and distorted footage of the band members, while the song is, "about being stuck, caught in a loop of stagnation either by fate or psychological paralysis, or both," said singer and guitarist Donita Sparks. She continued:

"I've been there a few times and it’s depressing and frustrating. Lyrically, this is a pep talk to my soul from the fairly incompetent life coach that lives in my brain to get things moving forward in a positive manner. 'Do it, it’s just your life. … The future is waiting, get here soon.'"

Alongside the video, the band have also shared an update on the PledgeMusic fiasco, posting a statement on their official Facebook page thanking fans for their support and patience, as well as Joan Jett's Blackheart Records for stepping in. Take a look below.
