The Joy Formidable have lined up three autumn UK shows as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations.

The Welsh band will play Manchester's Bread Shed on November 22 and London's Islington Assembly Hall on November 24 for the Ten Years Floating Tour.

The trio have also announced Formidable Fest/Gŵyl Aruthrol, a mini festival at the Tramshed in Cardiff on November 23. They'll be joined on the line up by Blood Red Shoes, Chroma, and Candelas, with more acts still to be announced. Tickets for all shows go on general sale at 10am on August 9. Vocalist and guitarist Ritzy Bryan said:

"We see Formidable Fest as a lovely opportunity for us to invite some bands to play in Wales, in front of an audience that otherwise might not get to see them. That, and having a bill that promotes Welsh language acts and bands from Wales - just a really inclusive night of great music. We'll be doing two shows that night, one short acoustic Welsh set and the other full electric."

The news follows the announcement of a 10th anniversary double album edition of their debut EP, 'A Balloon Called Moaning', out on October 15 via Hassle Records. The reissue will feature their 2009 EP alongside re-worked acoustic Welsh versions of their tracks, collectively titled 'Y Falŵn Drom'.

The Joy Formidable Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Fri November 22 2019 - MANCHESTER Bread Shed
Sat November 23 2019 - CARDIFF Tramshed
Sun November 24 2019 - LONDON Islington Assembly Hall
