Bruce Springsteen Shares Trailer For Western Stars Film

Bruce Springsteen has shared the trailer for his new film.
Western Stars shares its title with the legendary singer-songwriter's new album that came out in June. The movie features live footage of the Boss playing his new record in full backed by a band and full orchestra in a nearly 100-year-old barn, as well as discussions with the man himself. It'll be released in October, following its premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
Springsteen co-directed the film alongside Grammy and Emmy Award-winner Thom Zimny, who worked on the Springsteen On Broadway Netflix special, The Ties That Bind documentary about the 'The River' album, and more recently videos for tracks from 'Western Stars'.
Springsteen also recently surprise released a new live album. 'Bridge School '86' captures his performance at the first Bridge School Benefit Concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California on October 13, 1986. Head here for details.
