An extensive Pink Floyd collection is on its way.
'Pink Floyd The Later Years' will consist of 16 discs — five CDs, six Blu-Rays, five DVDs — covering the music created by David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright from 1987 onwards, sans Roger Waters and Syd Barrett.
During that time they released ‘A Momentary Lapse Of Reason’, ‘The Division Bell’, ‘The Endless River’ and two live albums, ‘Delicate Sound Of Thunder’ and‘Pulse’.
The huge set features additional production from Gilmour and Andy Jackson, more than 13 hours of unreleased audio and audiovisual material, including the 1989 Venice and 1990 Knebworth concerts, as well as their performance at the Syd Barrett Tribute Concert in 2007. It's due out on November 29.
Check out a taster clip of the Knebworth show below.
UPDATE 30/10: The release date for 'Pink Floyd The Later Years' deluxe box set and its digital equivalent has been pushed back to December 13. The highlights package will still arrive on November 29.
