An extensive Pink Floyd collection is on its way.

'Pink Floyd The Later Years' will consist of 16 discs — five CDs, six Blu-Rays, five DVDs — covering the music created by David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright from 1987 onwards, sans Roger Waters and Syd Barrett.

During that time they released ‘A Momentary Lapse Of Reason’, ‘The Division Bell’, ‘The Endless River’ and two live albums, ‘Delicate Sound Of Thunder’ and‘Pulse’.

The huge set features additional production from Gilmour and Andy Jackson, more than 13 hours of unreleased audio and audiovisual material, including the 1989 Venice and 1990 Knebworth concerts, as well as their performance at the Syd Barrett Tribute Concert in 2007. It's due out on November 29.

Check out a taster clip of the Knebworth show below.

UPDATE 30/10: The release date for 'Pink Floyd The Later Years' deluxe box set and its digital equivalent has been pushed back to December 13. The highlights package will still arrive on November 29.

Ask a random person on the street to name a Pink Floyd album and it's a safe bet they'll say 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'.  Considering it is one of the biggest selling albums in history, a cast-iron classic and owner of one of the iconic sleeves in rock, that's hardly a surprise. But it isn't the band's creative zenith. That honour belongs to 1975’s 'Wish You Were Here', a record that recently celebrated its 40th birthday and one that flawlessly encapsulates each element that made the legendary group tick.

You don’t have to be Master Yoda or a tightrope walker to understand that, in most areas of life, balance is everything. Such a notion is particularly true when it comes to musical collaborations, as evidenced by this eagerly awaited return from melodic-prog supergroup Flying Colors.
Alter Bridge - Walk The Sky (Album Review)
Fri 25 Oct 2019
Hammered out in what may or may not come to be known as a wham-bam, thank you ma’am style of recording, Alter Bridge’s sixth album was crafted in a whirlwind five week period that had led to some of its greatest strengths and the odd nagging concern. Deliberately their most out-and-out batch of inspiring anthems, ‘Walk The Sky’ largely typifies why they’re still the reigning kings of emotionally intense, ferociously well executed arena rock.
