Everclear Frontman Art Alexakis Announces Debut Solo Album 'Sun Songs'

Art Alexakis has announced his debut solo album.
The iconic frontman of the multi-platinum rock band Everclear will release ‘Sun Songs’ on October 11 through The End Records/BMG. He’ll support the record with headline tour dates in the UK and Ireland throughout October, after a run in North America.
Discussing stepping out on his own in a new direction, Alexakis said:
“For the most part, it’s an acoustic singer-songwriter type of album. It’s not about making another Everclear record; it’s about doing something that’s just me.”
