Monday, 20 April 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Two more acts have been announced for this year's Slam Dunk festival.

Joining the bill are Alkaline Trio (pictured) — for whom it'll be their first UK appearance in five years — and the Used. Dan Andriano from the former said:

“Even while we continue to stay home to do our part, we look forward to coming back to the UK for our first time in years! Slam Dunk will be amazing!”

The one-day event that began in 2006 and plays host to some of the biggest names in pop-punk, rock and all the subgenres you find in between was due to return to Hatfield Park and Temple Newsam Park in Leeds for the May Day bank holiday weekend. However, it's been moved to September due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
