Motörhead's Phil Campbell Releases New Single Straight Up Featuring Rob Halford

Friday, 25 October 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Phil Campbell has shared another track from his upcoming debut solo record.

The longtime Motörhead guitarist teams up with Judas Priest metal god Rob Halford on the no frills rock riff-fest Straight Up, the latest track to be shared from 'Old Lions Still Roar', following previous early singles These Old Boots and Swing It.

The record is released today via Nuclear Blast and boasts other guest performers, including Joe Satriani, Orange Goblin’s Ben Ward and Ugly Kid Joe singer Whitfield Crane. It follows two releases with his band the Bastard Sons — who he'll tour the UK and Europe with this autumn — as well as countless albums and shows with Motörhead.
