Lewis Capaldi Cancels Southampton Show On Doctor's Orders

Lewis Capaldi has cancelled tonight's show in Southampton.
The Scottish singer and songwriter was due to play the O2 Guildhall as part of his winter UK and Ireland tour, which currently has dates remaining in London, Norwich, Nottingham, Sheffield, Edinburgh and Glasgow, where he'll finish up the run with two nights at the city's O2 Academy.
The Southampton show was pulled due to problems with Capaldi's voice that led a doctor to recommend he cancel the performance. Read his full statement below.
Capaldi is on the road supporting his debut album, 'Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent', which came out in May. He's also got a busy 2020 ahead, with shows and festival appearances lined up in the UK and Ireland, as well as dates in mainland Europe and Australia.
