Circle Jerks have announced they are reuniting in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1980 debut album, 'Group Sex'.

The American punk band will take over London's Electric Ballroom on August 5, the day before their previously confirmed set at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool. Tickets for the new date, their first in the UK in over 30 years, go on sale at 9am on December 6.

The band's tour plans also include appearances across Europe, with festival dates and headline shows lined up in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Slovenia and Italy.

Prior to the summer run, they'll play European shows in spring as part of Fat Mike’s touring Punk In Drublic festival, which also features NOFX, Pennywise, Comeback Kid, Face To Face, and more.

Circle Jerks’ line up for the reunion comprises original frontman Keith Morris, original guitarist Greg Hetson and longtime bassist Zander Schloss. There's no news yet on who's drumming.
