Pearl Jam Announce New Album 'Gigaton' And Spring North American Tour

Pearl Jam have announced a new album.
The follow-up to 2013's 'Lightning Bolt' is called 'Gigaton' and will arrive on March 27. It was produced by Josh Evans and the band. Guitarist Mike McCready said:
“Making this record was a long journey. It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times."
Pearl Jam will support the record with a spring North American tour, kicking off on March 18 in Toronto. Tickets go on general sale from 10am local time on January 23.
Head below to view the new album's artwork, which features a photo called Ice Waterfall by Canadian photographer, filmmaker and marine biologist Paul Nicklen. The record's first single, Dance of the Clairvoyants, will arrive in the next few weeks.
The Seattle grunge legends also have a previously announced summer European tour in the diary, which includes their only UK show of the year at BST Hyde Park in London.
