Creeper Release New Track Annabelle

Monday, 20 January 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Creeper have shared a new track.

Annabelle is the latest preview of their new album, 'Sex, Death & the Infinite Void’, which is due out May 22. The theatrical rock song introduces the record's female protagonist to lead character Roe, who was unveiled with the previous single Born Cold. Vocalist Will Gould said:

“‘Annabelle’ was written in response to our experience with the Westboro Baptist Church whilst we were touring America. We’ve always proudly represented the so-called sinners, the weirdos, the outsiders and those who don’t feel like they fit in anywhere in this world. For many of our fans, our band is the one space they feel they CAN fit in. So we wrote them a satanic underworld anthem, a song to sing together in defiance. As the song says, ‘You’ve got to live a little when their world just wants you sad.’”

The band will support their new album with the God Can't Save Us Tour across the UK in April. They will also support Babymetal at their UK shows in February.
