Bright Eyes Return With New Single Persona Non Grata

Bright Eyes have released a new single.

Persona Non Grata marks the American indie rock band's first new material in nine years. Lyrically, the deeply reflective track finds frontman Conor Oberst dissecting a crumbling relationship over flourishes of bagpipes and a gentle piano melody. The trio are set to return to the UK this September for shows leading up to their appearance at End Of The Road festival in Salisbury. Prior to this, the band are set to hit North America and Europe this summer.

Bright Eyes' last album was 2011's 'The People's Key'. Oberst has been busy over the last decade with various other projects, though, including solo material, Desaparecidos and most recently Better Oblivion Community Center with Phoebe Bridgers.
