Buckfast is the latest cut to be lifted from her new album, ‘Kitchen Sink’, which will now arrive on June 26, having been pushed back from June 5.
The song is an eclectic offering, blending elements of funk, indie, pop and rock as Shah's vocals deliver an engaging narrative. Introducing it online, the songwriter said:
"My album’s new due date is June 26th. So in the meantime here is an amuse bouche from Kitchen Sink, it’s called BUCKFAST and it's out now. I wouldn’t recommend drinking it BUT I highly recommend you listen to it. Love to you all. Cheers!x"
