Norah Jones Shares New Single Were You Watching?

Thursday, 14 May 2020 Written by Sophie Williams

Norah Jones has unveiled a new single.

Were You Watching? will feature on the American singer-songwriter’s upcoming eighth LP, ‘Pick Me Up Off The Floor’, which is set to arrive on June 12 via Blue Note Records. The track follows the previously released Tryin’ To Keep It Together, How I Weep and I’m Alive, a collaboration with Wilco's Jeff Tweedy.

The reflective single was co-written with poet Emily Fiskio, and it unfolds around chirpy piano keys and warm, mellifluous vocal runs from Jones. Give it a spin below.

Jones recently postponed her summer 2020 co-headline tour of North America with Mavis Staples due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. New dates are yet to be confirmed. Keep up to date in real time with new information via Stereoboard.
