Alison Mosshart has released a new single.
The haunting It Ain’t Water points towards a cinematic arrangement of Mosshart’s vocal grit and whirling hooks that make for an addictive, seductive number.
The midtempo blues rock track arrives in conjunction with a self-directed video that the Kills vocalist filmed at home during this period of quarantine due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Check it out below.
It Ain’t Water is set to be paired with the previously shared Rise for a 7" single release on July 31 via Domino. Mosshart is yet to confirm any details of a solo debut LP.
