North American Leg of Hella Mega Tour Postponed Until Summer 2021

Wednesday, 20 May 2020 Written by Huw Baines

The Hella Mega Tour will now hit US venues next summer after being postponed in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The blockbuster package event, which will feature Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer, will return to the same venues with original tickets remaining valid, although a fresh batch of dates is yet to be announced.

“Hopefully this doesn’t come as a surprise, but as much as we were all looking forward to seeing you all this summer, everyone’s safety is our highest priority so we’ve officially made the call to reschedule all North American dates of the Hell Mega tour until next year,” a statement from the three bands reads.

“We’ll be announcing summer 2021 dates with the same venues very soon so hold on to those tickets. All ticket holders all be emailed directly with refund options as well. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in 2021.”

While several European dates have already been postponed, news of planned Hella Mega shows in the UK has yet to emerge. Stay tuned.
