Lucy Rose Shares Two New Tracks

Wednesday, 20 May 2020 Written by Spencer Lawes

Lucy Rose has unveiled the standalone tracks Question It All and White Car.

The acoustic songs arrive just over a year after her fourth album ‘No Words Left’. It's a mini project that the English singer-songwriter shelved in December 2019, saying:

“I was still very much in the ‘No Words Left’ mindset and I worried that the songs lyrically didn’t spell out exactly how I was feeling; they were more vague, almost disguising my feelings, that meant they weren’t good.”

But the lockdown has given her time and space to view them in a new light. The melodic Question it All is a showcase of Rose’s finger-picking skills and it's catchy from the first listen. White Car, meanwhile, is a beautiful slow burn.
