Metz will return with a new album this autumn.

The Canadian noise-rock band are set to release ‘Atlas Vending’ on October 9 through Sub Pop, following up 2017’s ‘Strange Peace’.

Head below to stream director Tony Wolski’s video for the epic A Boat to Drown In, which mashes together a righteous riff with an eventual collapse into chaos. According to guitarist and vocalist Alex Edkins the song is about “...leaving a bad situation behind. About overcoming obstacles that once held you back, rising above, and looking to a better future."

He adds: "The title refers to immersing yourself fully into what you love and using it as a sanctuary from negativity and a catalyst for change.”
