Disclosure Reunite With Fatoumata Diawara For New Track Douha (Mali Mali)

Thursday, 30 July 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Disclosure have released a new song featuring Fatoumata Diawara.

Douha (Mali Mali) is the second time the duo have teamed up with the Malian vocalist, the first being their 2018 Grammy-nominated single Ultimatum.

The entrancing dance track is taken from Guy and Howard Lawrence's star-studded new album, 'Energy', out on August 28.  The follow-up to 2015's 'Caracal' also features appearances by Khelis, Aminé, slowthai, Kehlani, Syd, Common, Channel Tre, Mick Jenkins and more.

Discussing the song's video, its director Mahaneela said:

“Right now, all over the world, we're going through an incredibly strange time. I wanted to make something that was visually beautiful, but also felt symbolic of what we’re all going through.

"People feel more isolated than ever and I wanted to create something joyful that really shows the power music and movement has and the connectivity it brings.”
