The Rolling Stones Announce Previously Unreleased Concert Film Steel Wheels Live

Thursday, 30 July 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

The Rolling Stones have announced a new concert film.

Steel Wheels Live – Atlantic City, New Jersey features previously unreleased footage of the band's December 1989 show at the Atlantic City Convention Center that's been restored, remixed and remastered. They were joined on stage by special guests Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, Eric Clapton and John Lee Hooker.

The film and accompanying live album will arrive on various formats on September 25. Head below to check out the trailer.

The veteran rockers have been keeping busy during the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, recently releasing the previously unheard song Scarlet and putting out their first new song in eight years, Living In A Ghost Town, in April.

The pandemic also caused them to postpone the summer North American leg of their No Filter Tour. Rescheduled dates are yet to be announced.
