Sheryl Crow has shared a video for a rerecorded version of her 2012 b-side Woman In The White House.
The empowering, political track comes ahead of Joe Biden's announcement for his running mate in the 2020 US election — which it is strongly rumoured will be a woman. The clip, meanwhile, was directed by Peter Harding and features footage of women throughout history, including suffragettes, civil rights activists, Black Lives Matter protestors and climate change influencer Greta Thunberg. Take a look below.
Crow released the new version of the song in July. At the time, she tweeted: "When I first recorded this song eight years ago, I was hopeful that we, as a nation, would seize the moment and put a Woman in the White House. That did not happen - but our movement of strength grows as we take to the streets and make our voices heard."
The single is available as a limited 7" vinyl, with a portion of proceeds benefiting She Should Run, a non-profit organisation that encourages women to run for public office.
Crow released her 11th studio album, 'Threads', in August 2019.
