Following the previously released America, Video Game is the second cut to be taken from the vocalist and multi-instrumentalist's forthcoming LP, 'The Ascension', which is set to land on September 25.
The midtempo, lo-fi pop track is peppered with electronic whirrs and syncopated beats, and its accompanying video sees TikTok dance star Jalaiah Harmon perform in front of a series of retro arcade game-inspired backdrops. Watch below.
The new album follows up 'Aporia', Stevens's collaborative LP with his stepfather, Lowell Brams, which landed in March. His last solo effort was 2015's critically adored 'Carrie & Lowell'.
