The infectious and empowering synth-pop track was due to be released ahead of their autumn co-headline tour of North America with Pet Shop Boys, but with that being rescheduled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic the band decided now was the time to share it. Lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Bernard Summer said:
“In tough times we wanted to reach out with a new song. We can’t play live for a while, but music is still something we can all share together. We hope you enjoy it… until we meet again.”

The band will also play London's O2 Arena on November 6, 2021.
