The Beach Boys have rescheduled their US tour to 2021 due to COVID-19.
The band, led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, with Jeffrey Foskett, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher and Scott Totten, will kick off the run on March 30 in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Their drive-in concerts scheduled for this October and November are set to go ahead as planned, while previously purchased tickets for their postponed shows will remain valid for all corresponding new dates.
Lead vocalist Love released his fourth solo album, '12 Sides Of Summer', in 2019. In May, he put out the new uplifting rock 'n' roll song This Too Shall Pass, which was written and recorded during the coronavirus lockdown and features special guest John Stamos on drums. Love said:
"A lifetime of performing to millions of people all over the world and suddenly everything came to a halt. I've lived through enough good times and bad to know that eventually, this too shall pass, and better days are yet to come."
