Big Boi And Sleepy Brown Drop We The Ones Collaboration Featuring Killer Mike And Big Rube

Friday, 09 October 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Big Boi and Sleepy Brown have reunited for We The Ones.

The track featuring Killer Mike and Big Rube marries funk with a message of facing up to oppression, and serves as a teaser for the duo's forthcoming collaborative project, 'The Big Sleepover', which currently does not have a release date.

It follows their previously shared joint offering, Can't Sleep. Speaking to Vinyl Me, Please in May 2019, Big Boi, known for his work as half of Atlanta hip hop duo Outkast, said of the release: "It's produced by Organized Noize, and it's me and Sleepy Brown all the way down, man, and we’re gonna drop that shit in a couple of months and keep it movin'."

Big Boi and Sleepy Brown are both part of the hip hop collective Dungeon Family.
