Shakin Stevens Returns With New Single Wild At Heart, Announces Anthology 'Fire In The Blood'

Shakin Stevens has returned with a new song, Wild At Heart.
The upbeat, country-rock track will feature on the singer-songwriter's forthcoming singles collection, 'Singled Out', as well as a massive 19-disc anthology titled 'Fire In The Blood', containing his body of studio work with rare gems, live treats and personal liner notes. Wild At Heart was originally intended to appear on Stevens' 2016 LP, 'Echoes Of Our Times', but it didn't fit with the record's aesthetic. He said:
"Unfortunately, it wasn’t right for the 'Echoes Of Our Times' album, which had a clear theme, but it deserves to be out there, so it’s great to be releasing it now."
Available on 3CD, 2LP and digitally, 'Singled Out' is due to arrive on November 27 via BMG. 'Fire In The Blood' also drops the same day. Check out the full contents here.
"Working on the compilation of the tracks, with the varied styles of my music, collating the images, and other aspects of the release, has brought back many precious memories: hard times, good times, and everything in between," continued Stevens.
"Nothing came easy, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I hope that everyone enjoys 'Fire In The Blood' as much as we have while working on the project. The fire still burns - and always will."
