Marika Hackman has posted two more cuts from her upcoming album 'Covers'.
The singer-songwriter's take on Elliott Smith's Between The Bars and Beyoncé's All Night will feature alongside her reworkings of songs by Air, Alvvays, Edith Frost, Muna, Radiohead, the Shins, Sharon Van Etten and an already shared minimal cover of Grimes' Realiti.
The former rolls out over a gentle fingerpicked guitar melody, while the latter is a hushed interpretation that features layered vocal harmonies. Press play below.
"I've been playing Between the Bars live for a while now, on the last few tours and in live streams," she said. "It's been nice to play around with the arrangement, and I hope people enjoy what I’ve done with this recorded version."
The follow-up to 2019's 'Any Human Friend' is scheduled to arrive on November 13 via Sub Pop and Transgressive.
Hackman will play a full band livestream show on the record's release day, with tickets available to fans who pre-order the LP.
