Beans On Toast has shared a new song with Frank Turner.
The Village Disco serves as the first track from Jay McAllister's upcoming LP, 'Knee Deep in Nostalgia', which will arrive alongside a second full-length titled 'The Unforeseeable Future' on December 1 via BOTmusic.
The former will comprise songs focussing on positive, happy memories, while the latter was recorded alone by McAllister with an acoustic guitar or piano at home during the coronavirus lockdown. Both records were announced earlier in October alongside details of a socially distanced show at the Clapham Grand in London on release day, ticketed via Dice.
The upbeat bop, meanwhile, was inspired by the folk artist's 40th birthday and finds him reflecting on days gone by and getting old, a recurring theme on the album, which Turner produced. It comes with a video viewable below which finds the pair going full midlife crisis.
