Sting has announced a new album.
'Duets' is scheduled to land on November 27, with a vinyl LP edition following on December 18. As the title suggests, the collection features collaborations from throughout the 17-time Grammy winner's career, including songs with Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox, Charles Aznavour, Mylène Farmer, Shaggy and Melody Gardot, among others.
It'll also contain a previously unreleased collaboration with Italian artist Zucchero called September. Sting announced the news while appearing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last Friday (October 23), where he performed Mama virtually alongside Brooklyn rapper Gashi, who also appears on the record.
Earlier in 2020, Sting rescheduled his My Songs run at the London Palladium to June 2021 in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Original tickets remain valid.
