Pixies, Primal Scream, Embrace And The Libertines To Headline Bingley Weekender

The headliners have been confirmed for next year's Bingley Weekender.

Pixies, Primal Scream, Embrace and the Libertines lead the line up for the second instalment of the Yorkshire festival, which will take over Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club in August. The 2020 edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Discussing the Pixies booking, organiser Steve Davis said: "It's an absolute honour to be welcoming one of the most iconic and influential alternative indie bands of all time to the Bingley Weekender in 2021. We were blown away by the public response to the first weekender last year and we were determined to come back with an even bigger and bolder line-up for the following event."

Other acts confirmed to perform include the Amazons, Peter Hook and the Light, White Lies and the Craig Charles Funk and Soul show.

Also set to perform acrcoss the weekend are the Amazons, Peter Hook and the Light, White Lies, Jade Bird, the Wedding Present, Cabbage, the Snuts, the K's, Twisted Wheel, the Reytons, the Slow Readers Club, Cassia, Ryan McMullan, Sheafs, Another Sky, Retro Video Club, Talkboy, Venus, ARTIO, EEVAH, Connor Fyfe, FEVA, the Indigo Project, Apollo Junction, Tranqua Lite, Faux Pas, Polo, KOKO, Talk More, Craig Charles, Hyde Park Brass, Hi Sienna, Marie White, Skylights, Jake Whiskin, Kilnsey Green, the Big Peach, the Sheratons, and Cat Una.
