Alfie Boe has joined the line-up for this year's Lytham Festival.
The British tenor will top the bill on August 28 for a Last Night of The Proms concert, with support coming John Owen-Jones. Tickets for that show go on sale at 9am on May 6.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions due to the coronavirus pandemic, the concert series will return to Lytham Green on the Lancashire Coast in June and July.
The event has retained its four 2021 headliners; Diana Ross, Lewis Capaldi, Snow Patrol, and Duran Duran, with the previously announced additions Simply Red, Elbow, The Strokes, Nile Rodgers and CHIC, Tears For Fears and Paul Weller making up the rest of the bill.
The event, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019, has previously hosted performances from Rod Stewart, Kylie Minogue, Stereophonics, Human League, Michael Ball, Sheridan Smith, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ana Matronic.
What? A multi-day concert series on the Lancashire coast with a line-up comprised of the biggest names in music and the arts.
