Twenty One Pilots Announce Sixth Album 'Scaled And Icy', Share New Single Shy Away

Twenty One Pilots have announced their sixth studio album.

The follow-up to 2018's 'Trench' is called 'Scaled And Icy' and will arrive on May 21 via Fueled By Ramen. It was recorded during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown period, with Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun collaborating remotely.

Head below to check out the LP's first single, Shy Away, which finds the pair embracing synth-pop with elements of alt-rock. It comes with an accompanying video from director duo Miles & AJ.

Along with news of the record, the Grammy Award-winning duo have announced their first livestream concert, Twenty One Pilots - Livestream Experience, which will be broadcast across the world on May 21 at 8pm ET/ May 22 at 1am BST. Head here for further details and tickets.
