Blossoms To Headline Sefton Park Pilot Event In May For Return Of Live Music

Blossoms will headline the Sefton Park Pilot next month.
The Stockport band will be joined by The Lathums and Zuzu at the Grade 1 listed historic park in Liverpool on May 2 for a gig to trial the return of live music without social distancing or masks being required.
The concert is part of the national Events Research Programme (ERP) that will provide key scientific data to the to the UK government to aid in the construction of a realistic roadmap of how various size shows can safely restart and operate.
The event is being produced by Festival Republic and tickets are on sale now, priced £29.50 and limited to one per person. Those attending must be over 18, living in the Liverpool City Region and registered to a local GP, and healthy and showing no sign of COVID-19 symptoms. Vaccine passports are not part of Liverpool’s pilot programme.
Ticket holders will have to take a Lateral Flow Test at a community testing site 24 hours before the event and will have to produce a negative result to gain entry. This test has to be taken at one of the city’s community testing sites located here.
