The Charlatans Plot 30th Anniversary UK And Ireland Tour, Detail 'A Head Full Of Ideas' Box Set

The Charlatans have announced a UK and Ireland tour as part of their delayed 30th anniversary celebrations.
The indie legends have lined up 18 shows for the autumn, kicking off in Belfast on November 22 before calling in Dublin, Wrexham, Bristol, Birmingham, Bexhill, Bournemouth, Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester, Lincoln, Liverpool, Newcastle, London, Nottingham, Leeds and Glasgow, wrapping up in Aberdeen on December 20. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on April 30.
Prior to the trek, the band will release a career-spanning box set called 'A Head Full Of Ideas' on October 15 via Then Recordings through Republic Of Music.
It'll comprise five blue vinyl LPs made up of hits, live performances, unheard demos, rarities, and remixes from The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim and Sleaford Mods. It'll also contain an exclusive 7" single featuring demos of Indian Rope and The Only One I Know.
Other goodies include a signed tour poster, a book of unseen photographs, and sleeve notes by friend and journalist Dave Simpson.
The collection will also be available as a triple vinyl LP version, 2CD deluxe edition, and single CD or vinyl.
The Charlatans are also set to headline the rescheduled inaugural Signals Festival at Crich Tramway Village, Derbyshire in June 2022. Their last album was 'Different Days', released in 2017.
