Jane Weaver, Dream Wife And Porridge Radio Announced For New Deer Shed Event Base Camp Plus

The line-up has been revealed for Deer Shed: Base Camp Plus.
After Deer Shed Festival postponed its full capacity event until 2022 last month, organisers have revealed that a smaller, socially distanced version will take over the grounds of Baldersby Park, North Yorkshire on the original Deer Shed dates between July 30 and August 1.
Deer Shed held the first Base Camp event in the summer of 2020, adhering to the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time. In 2021, there will be the addition of live entertainment on a main stage, along with camping pitches complete with personal portaloo and washing facilities.
The line up boasts headliners Jane Weaver, Dream Wife and Porridge Radio, with many more acts confirmed to perform. Deer Shed Festival director, Oliver Jones said:
"Base Camp 2020 was loads of fun, and a welcome return to something as close to normality as we could achieve last July. Let’s face it though: it was still far from normal.
"Base Camp Plus offers us the chance to get back to what we love doing, in programming quality entertainment for our audience in Baldersby Park. We're delighted to have secured three female-fronted music headliners, who have all been formidable in their continued output during the COVID-19 crisis, and a brilliant line-up of some of our favourite comedians."
What? An intimate, limited capacity, socially distanced three-day festival with live indie music, comedy, shows, workshops, wellbeing and Wilderwild activities. Whereas in 2020, the event had an onsite FM radio station, this year the radio station will be replaced by live entertainment on a main stage, with personal camping pitches also available.
Where? Baldersby Park in North Yorkshire.
When? July 30 to August 1.
Who? Jane Weaver, Dream Wife, and Porridge Radio will headline the three days, respectively, with W.H. Lung, Big Joanie, Katy J Pearson, The Lounge Society, Deep Tan, Bull, The Baghdaddies, New York Brass Band, Serious Sam Barrett, Niki Stevens, Bez (DJ set), Smoove & Turrell (DJ set), and Rory Hoy (DJ set) also set to perform.
The comedy line up features John Shuttleworth, Mark Watson, Angelos Epithemiou, Flo & Joan, Huge Davies, Shelf, Harriet Dyer, Musical Bingo and Card Ninja.
