Alanis Morissette Releases Chester Bennington Tribute Song Rest

Alanis Morissette has unveiled a new song.
The Canadian artist originally debuted Rest at the Linkin Park And Friends tribute concert for Chester Bennington, following his death by suicide in 2017.
Co-written by Morissette and Michael Farrell, with production from Alex Hope, the emotive, piano-led studio version arrives in support of Mental Health Action Day and Mental Health Awareness Month. Press play below.
In April, the singer dropped the COVID-19 lockdown-inspired single I Miss The Band, her first new music since her 2020 LP 'Such Pretty Forks In The Road'.
The 46-year-old will celebrate 25 years of her 1995 LP 'Jagged Little Pill’ with a rescheduled UK and European tour this autumn. The North American leg gets underway in the summer.
