Ed Sheeran Announces New Single Bad Habits

Friday, 11 June 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Ed Sheeran has announced a new single, Bad Habits.

The news comes after a number of projections of the singer-songwriter in a vampire costume were spotted at multiple landmarks across London, including the Tate Modern and the South Bank.

The 30-year-old took to social media to confirm the track's arrival on June 25 and reveal its artwork. He said:

"I've been working away in the studio over recent months and I can't wait for you to hear Bad Habits. I always aim to push myself and my music in new directions and hopefully you’ll hear that on the new single. Feels great to be back!"

Sheeran's last solo full-length was 2017's '÷'. In 2019, he dropped the star-studded 'No.6 Collaborations Project' album, featuring songs with Stormzy, Justin Bieber, Eminem, Cardi B and more.

He'll perform a special TikTok UEFA Euro 2020 show from Ipswich Town football club's Portman Road stadium on June 25. The set will be streamed globally on the star's TikTok from 9pm BST.
