Logic Returns With New Single Intro

Friday, 18 June 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Logic is back with a new song.

The Maryland rapper has officially ended his "retirement" with the release of Intro via Def Jam Recordings.

Clocking in at just under two minutes, it features production from the artist's frequent collaborator 6IX and follows a teasing statement "in response to future career plans" issued to social media.

"The following statement was released today by Logic, through his attorney Paul Rothenberg Partner of Rothenberg, Mohr & Binder, LLP located in NYC, in response to questions about his future career plans: 'I’m back,'" wrote Logic.

In summer 2020, Logic revealed that he would step away from the spotlight to focus on his family, following the release of his last album 'No Pressure'.

Intro marks his second cut of 2021, following Tired in Malibu, which landed in April. Earlier in 2021, he collaborated with Madlib under the moniker MadGic for the singles Mars Only pt. 3 and Raddest Dad.
