Starcrawler have released a video for Goodtime Girl.

The Los Angeles rock band flaunts their signature sound, that seamlessly combines frontwoman Arrow de Wilde's raspy power vocals with anthemic guitar, on their second release of 2021 — the first being a collaboration with Perry Farrell and Taylor Hawkins on Turn Over The World earlier in the year.

Goodtime Girl champions the underdog, with De Wilde urging listeners to feel like "the hottest and baddest bitch in the world." She explained:

"Goodtime Girl’ is about realising your power and taking complete control of that. I wish I had a song like this when I was in middle or high school, if I did I may have been a lot more confident with myself at the time.”

The track features on the soundtrack to DC Comics' miniseries Dark Nights: Death Metal, so naturally its accompanying music video is suitably eerie, with some light comic relief provided by cameos from actors David Hasselhoff and Danny Trejo.

“We’re all huge fans of DC and all the Batman movies, so coming up with a concept for this video with Gilbert [Trejo - director/son of Danny Trejo] was really fun and inspiring,” says De Wilde. “We would have movie nights in our backyard where we invited the crew and band over and screened the early Batman movies, The Warriors, and Fallen Angels, to name a few."

Starcrawler, whose last album was 2019's 'Devour You', will support Red Fang on their upcoming North American tour, playing all shows except October 31 and November 20. Head here for tour dates and ticket details.
