Coldplay Confirm October Release For Ninth Album 'Music Of The Spheres'

Coldplay have shared details of their ninth album.
Produced by Max Martin, 'Music Of The Spheres' will arrive on October 15 via Atlantic Records and feature their previously unveiled song Higher Power.
The band confirmed the news with a post on Instagram, revealing a handwritten note and an animated teaser video comprising snippets of the record's 12 tracks, five of which are represented by emojis. Their new single, Coloratura, is set to arrive this Friday (July 23), with a third preview coming in September.
Coldplay will appear as part of Global Citizen Live, a worldwide 24-hour broadcast event in September, set up to raise funding and awareness to fight poverty.
