Japanese post-rock quartet Mono have unveiled details of their 11th studio album, 'Pilgrimage Of The Soul'.

The announcement comes after the release of the record's lead single, Riptide. If that particular track is anything to go by, fans can brace themselves for a storm of theatrical riffs and powerful drum breaks, providing the foundations for that moody, atmospheric flair that has solidified Mono as masters of their craft.

The album—which will embody more electronic, techno-inspired elements than previous recordings—was produced by Steve Albini of Shellac, the brains behind releases from the likes of Pixies, Nirvana, The Cribs and Jawbreaker, among many others. The band will support the album with a European tour in early 2022.

'Pilgrimage Of The Soul' is out on September 17, via Temporary Residence. Meanwhile, check out Riptide's accompanying short film below.
