The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die have announced their fourth studio album, 'Illusory Walls'.

It's been a four-year wait for the Connecticut-based quintet's successor to 'Always Foreign', which is out digitally on October 8, with physical records set to follow on December 3 .

In true COVID-19 quarantine fashion, 'Illusory Walls'—which takes its name from the video game Dark Souls—was recorded remotely, between the band's various residences across Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

Co-produced by their own guitarist Chris Teti and END guitarist Greg Thomas, the album examines not only personal struggles, but also takes a dead-in-the-eye look at the social and political issues that weigh heavily on society as a whole.

Alongside the announcement comes a new song, Invading The World Of The Guilty As A Spirit of Vengeance. Heading towards a more intense, theatrical sound than has been seen on previous releases, the track questions the effects of billionaire corporations on our lives, soundtracked by the band's trademark fusion of math rock riffs and raw, emotive vocals from David Bello and Katie Dvorak.
