Måneskin have enlisted Iggy Pop for a new version of I Wanna Be Your Slave.
The original track features on the Eurovision 2021 winners' second album, 'Teatro d'ira: Vol. I', and logged seven weeks inside the Top 10 of the UK's Official Singles Chart.
The rework arrives after the Italian band took to social media to break the news, revealing a short video of them chatting with the punk legend, who has recorded new vocals for the thumping rock track. Måneskin said:
"It was such an honour that he loved our music and wanted to work with us. It was touching seeing him sing I Wanna Be Your Slave live in front of us, it was very powerful to see such a big artist being so open and friendly. We all grew up listening to his music and he inspired us to starting up a band, it’s still unbelievable for us that we had the chance to get to know him and make music together."
