Björk Announces Cornucopia US Tour Dates For Early 2022

Björk will take her Cornucopia Tour to the west coast of the United States early in 2022.
The Icelandic artist will perform her elaborate theatrical production at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and the Chase Center in San Francisco between January 29 and February 8. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on October 15.
Cornucopia is inspired by the singer's 2017 album, 'Utopia', and features a 50-piece Icelandic ensemble, The Hamrahild Choir, a seven-piece flute band, a harp, and several instruments specially designed for the tour. Each concert also features a speech by climate activist Greta Thunberg, which is shown on a video screen before the encore. It is directed by Argentine filmmaker Lucrecia Martel, with designer Chiara Stevenson's stage designed to resemble fungi.
Björk has also lined up four orchestral shows at Reykjavík's Harpa Hall in her home country, following a number of delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. Starting on October 11, she'll perform songs accompanied by different collaborators each night, including members of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, flute septet Viibra, the Hamrahlid Choir, and special guests.
