Bryan Adams Announces New Album, Confirms UK And Ireland Leg Of So Happy It Hurts Tour For 2022

Bryan Adams has announced the So Happy It Hurts Tour.
The superstar Canadian singer-songwriter has lined up arena stops in Brighton, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, London, Dublin and Belfast in May, ahead of outdoor shows in Durham, Roxburgh and Blickling in July.
The former gigs will follow his three rescheduled London shows at the Royal Albert Hall and the latter dates will fall alongside his previously rescheduled outdoor UK concerts that were also moved due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The tour shares its name with Adams' new studio album. The follow-up to 2019's 'Shine A Light' is due for release on March 11. Head below to listen to the title track, with the video set to follow on YouTube at 5pm BST today (October 11). Adams said:
“The pandemic and lockdown really brought home the truth that spontaneity can be taken away. Suddenly all touring stopped, no one could jump in the car and go. The title song ‘So Happy It Hurts’ is about freedom, autonomy, spontaneity and the thrill of the open road. The album of the same name, touches on many of the ephemeral things in life that are really the secret to happiness, most importantly, human connection.”
