Nick Mulvey Announces Third Studio Album 'New Mythology' With New Single Star Nation

Nick Mulvey has announced his long awaited third studio album.
'New Mythology' will arrive on June 10 via Fiction Records and include the newly shared single Star Nation, which comes with a video directed by Kate Bellm.
Touching on finding answers during troubling times, the mellow, acoustic track marks the first preview of the follow-up to 2017's 'Wake Up Now'. It was recorded at Studio Ferber in Paris during the pandemic with producer Renaud Letang. Mulvey said:
"I'm singing about our times. The time of the lone wolf is done! We are at the beginning of a collective awakening. My song weaves ancient teachings (Hopi Prayer/Nyingma Buddhism) through the lyric and a joyfulness in the melodies and chords. Particularly in these times, joy can be a powerful tool. It is not apathy. I hope my song brings you joy."
Bellm added: "The Star Nation video is an ode to growing up on island life, dedicated and inspired by my son, Sage."
Mulvey will showcase new material at the intimate Lafayette in London on March 22. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on February 25.
